These Terms are the common terms that apply across FreqPrism (freqprism.com, the "Site") and the apps FreqPrism offers (those served on subdomains of freqprism.com; together with the Site, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scope, and how these Terms relate to app-specific terms
The Service provides Web apps for visualizing audio. All processing happens in your own browser, and no account is required.
Some apps have their own separate terms covering matters specific to that app, such as pricing and licensing. Whether an app has its own terms, and what they say, can be checked on that app's own pages (linked from its footer).
Where an app has its own terms, and those terms conflict with these Terms, the app-specific terms prevail to the extent of the conflict. These Terms apply to anything the app-specific terms do not cover.
2. Use of the Service
- Any audio or image you load into the Service must be something you own the rights to, or have permission to use.
- You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that infringes the rights of others.
- You may not interfere with the operation of the Service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse-engineer it, or place excessive load on it through automated tools.
- If we find the Service being used in breach of these Terms, we may restrict that use.
3. Fees
The Site is free to use. Pricing is set per app. Where an app offers paid features, the features, price, and payment terms are stated in that app's own terms or on its purchase page.
In all cases, features already offered free of charge will not be switched to paid without prior notice.
4. Rights in what you create
Content you generate using the Service (such as video) belongs to you or to the rights holders of the source material. We claim no rights in it, and we never receive its contents, since all processing happens on your device. You are responsible for how you use and publish it.
5. Changes, interruption, and discontinuation
We may change or add to the features and content of the Service. We may also suspend it temporarily, or discontinue it, for maintenance, faults, or other operational reasons. If we discontinue the Service, we will give notice on this site where practicable.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided "as is," with no guarantee of completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Supported browsers and environments may change without notice.
- We are not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This exclusion does not apply where the damage results from our intent or gross negligence, or where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law (including consumer protection law).
- Where we are liable under the exception above, our liability is limited to direct and actual damages that ordinarily arise, capped at the amount you paid in connection with the Service during the year preceding the damage (or JPY 1,000 if you used the Service free of charge).
7. Intellectual property
The logos, design, and code that make up the Service and this site belong to us or to their respective rights holders. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without prior permission.
8. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updated Terms take effect once posted on this page. Where a change materially affects users, we will give advance notice on this site.
9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court with jurisdiction over the operator's address, as the court of first instance.

In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions of these Terms, the Japanese version prevails.
